#057 Busy busy
Dec. 11th, 2017 07:31 pmSo I haven't updated this in a little while and so I'm not gonna make my goal but still, I've done 57 posts already which is an achievement in itself!
Today was incredibly busy! I woke up at 8am and sorted emails and such for a while. Then I sketched in my sketch book when I had breakfast and morning coffee, followed by writing a lot of holiday cards for clients and friends. I sent off about half, the others are either going abroad or I'll post them tomorrow. I made sure to do sketches in each card that was for clients - it's something I'd love to do every year and although this year I printed my own cards, they are on thin-ish matte paper. I'd love to have some professionally printed for next year though! I think card designs is also something I'd love to get into some time!
After that I did dishes and some other chores and then worked for a solid 6 hours. I'm so exhausted now but I feel good as I knocked two commissions off my list. I really hope I can get all my work done in time for Christmas ahhhh. I think I'm doing pretty good right now and unless something stupid happens, I'm on target if a little behind.
Just waiting for dinner now and tomorrow's gonna be another busy day of work. It snowed yesterday and it's frozen over so I'm hoping it's gone by tomorrow as I want to go post the remainder of my cards tomorrow. Otherwise I guess I could do the postage online but it'll take even longer as I have to manually type everything in.
Anyways yeah, super busy but working hard and I'm looking forward to having time off!
